Hadith #21: The Concept of Istiqama (Steadfastness)
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قُلْ لِي فِي الإِسْلاَمِ قَولاً لاَ أَسْأَلُ عَنْهُ أَحَداً غَيْرَكَ، قَالَ: قُلْ آمَنْتُ بِاللهِ، ثُمَّ اسْتَقِمْ

On the authority of Abu 'Amr, though others call him Abu 'Amrah Sufyan bin 'Abdullah, radiyallahu anhu, who said: I said:
"O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about Islam which I could not ask anyone about save you." He answered: "Say: 'I believe in Allah', and then stand firm and steadfast."
